About Us

Our mission is to work with charities, community groups, public bodies and residents to develop projects in Acton W3.

Our work started in 2018 when we started to develop local networks, with a primary aim to support local businesses and encourage bottom-up ideas in our neighbourhood.

Since then, we have

  • built a significant local social media following.

  • Delivered Acton Unframed, a street art trail of five murals.

  • During the 2020 lockdown, we worked with Action West London (AWL) to re-imagine the Saturday Market on the Mount. We curated the pilot for a new artisan market, MarketW3’, from Oct 2020 until Dec 2020.

  • In 2021, we piloted the ‘ReBoutique’ reuse, recycle, and no waste pop-up market, providing local trading opportunities for over 35 businesses. We built up a following of nearly 800 on Instagram and a database of 40+ traders eager to support future local projects.

  • As a result of ReBoutique, we were able to help secure 30 traders to take part in the Acton BID Spring Celebration held on the Mount on April 22.

  • We’ve actively supported local projects, including Actone Cinema, Rewilding Acton and The Mutual Gain World Cafe.

  • Our latest project, Restore, W3, a repair and restore Hub at 98 Churchfield Rd, has won funding from The Greater London Authority and Ealing Council and aims to develop circular economy ideas and encourage entrepreneurial activity in Acton.
